Remember her not funny! When she found a bear in her walk-in or the snake in the sink???

Now, it is our turn to give her the biggest thank you we can! Please join us for this wonderful celebration of her 40+ years of feeding, encouraging, and caring!

What: Social hour begins at 3; Dinner served at 4:30; entertainment throughout!
Need: Seating for this event is limited; RSVP must include payment and must be received by Thursday, Oct. 27th.

If you are able to attend and help out for the weekend, please complete the attached registration form and sent it back to Dina by April 15th.  There is plenty of work for everyone with all of the storms that we had this winter.  So please feel free to bring anyone that you can think of to help out!

During the weekend of 10/16/09 – 10/18/09 with a theme of “Back in the Day”, we enjoyed our alumni reunion at Camp Arrowhead.  Mother Nature graced us with two n’oresters throughout our weekend, but we continued as we did “Back in the Day” to share stories, enjoy candlelight campfires, make name tags, and cheered for Delma and Jim at the end of our weekend for all of the delicious meals that they prepared for us!  Though the weather caused us to modify our campfire to candlelight in the Environmental Center, decade units and friends had a very special campfire of their own lead by Cathy Hanna.  It was easy to see the look of amazement on the faces of the children and the joy of their moms and dads, which filled the candlelit room with Camp Arrowhead spirit.  It was so great to see everyone enjoying time with old friends and making new friends at camp.  It was especially wonderful to see so many children of alumni having their first experiences with camp, our future campers!

As your new Alumni President, I would like to announce our officers.  Our new alumni officers include:  Trevor Metz as Vice-President, Teri Valente as Secretary, and Meg Sebastianelli is our new Treasurer.  We also formed two committees during the alumni meeting that have already met and started activity.  Janna Wilcoxen will lead an annual giving committee and Stephen Johns is leading a committee for the Staff Lounge Project.  We anticipate looking for alumni volunteer support in the spring to help us to complete the staff lounge, so bring your skill and a little of your time and spend it at Camp Arrowhead!

If you would like to donate to the Staff Lounge Project, please make checks payable to Camp Arrowhead and send to Margaret Sebastianelli, 25 Rose Tree Drive, Downington, PA 19335.  Note:  please write “Staff Lounge” on the memo line. Thank you for your support of this very important project!

Work weekend will be April 30th – May 2nd.  In addition, after each summer camp session, we look for alumni to volunteer at the alumni booth to represent the alumni association.  This is an excellent opportunity to show support for camp and keep in touch with camp activity!
